The tightly rolled leaf signals consistent particle size, which means even extraction in pyramid and double-chamber formats and a reliable base for private-label lines. High-grown elevations and Sri Lanka's slower growth cycles concentrate flavour in the leaf while keeping astringency low.
That profile matters commercially: a naturally lighter, less grassy cup than Longjing or Japanese sencha gives retail buyers a green tea that converts mainstream tea drinkers, not just enthusiasts. For ranges that need the familiar style cue, we produce sencha-style Ceylon green tea alongside the GP1 standard — same origin, same certified supply chain.
